Recently Wakad residents witnessed a Grand Inauguration of the new stores of prominent brands like Star Bazaar, Zudio, Mr.DIY and Croma in the VJ GRAND CENTRAL. The opening ceremonies had a warm welcome with Dhol-Taasha-Pathak and drew attention of the passing by crowd.
Mr. Sarvesh Javdekar along with his wife, Dr. Shruti Javdekar, Mr. Satish Nene (Commercial Sales Head), were accompanied by Mr. Vishal Shah, India-Head, Star Bazaar for the ribbon cutting. The store was very well decorated with colourful balloons all over and was all set to welcome customers. Star Bazaar is a unit of Trent Hypermarket Ltd which is a part of the Trent Limited, a Tata Group Company in retailing.
This was followed by the opening of our 2nd Store which was ‘Mr. DIY’. Mr. Sarvesh Javdekar along with Mr. Manish Sharma, CEO, Mr. DIY led the team from the forefront. The festivities got further charmed by the chords of dhol taasha pathak adding colours to the ceremony. It is their 9th Store in Pune showcasing various categories like household, hardware, car accessories, electrical, stationary, jewellery, furnishing, gifts and so on.
Furthermore, we proceeded to welcome another Chroma Store coming on board with Grand Central. Mr. Sarvesh Javdekar, Mr. Satish Nene, Mr. Ranjeet Gaikwad (Project Manager) & Mr. Abhijeet Deshpande (Manager- Croma) proceeded with the inauguration ceremonies. The store staff had decorated the entire store with rangoli and flowers to add to the celebratitive vibes. There are around 261 stores of Croma across India and this is the 15th store of Croma in Pune.
The day filled with celebrations marked the start of a new beginning. And VJ Grand Central is sure to be one of the most happening places in Wakad now!
